With wedding season back in full force we thought what better time than now to showcase one of our favourite photographers that we have worked very closely with over the last several years.
If you have enquired with us previously or even attended one of our Wedding Open Days at Encore St Kilda, there is a high chance that you have heard the name John Warren before. Yes that’s right, he’s the man, the myth, the legend!
Not only has John shot multiple weddings at Encore St Kilda, but he has also been the photographer for our Sales & Events Manager, Amy Kelly, as well as our Marketing & Administrative Group Manager, Natarlia Vogels, so you are always sure to get a great recommendation from our end!
We have had the pleasure of having John on as a preferred supplier for at least 7 years, and we have loved every second of it!
Do you have a stand out wedding at Encore that you’ve shot?
“We’ve shot so many good ones – I love them big, Encore has one of the best dance floor spaces in Melbourne, you can fill it with 200 people going crazy, the vibe is awesome.”
What is your favourite thing about shooting at Encore?
“Where else can you get an amazing sunset on the water, St Kilda and Broome, and Broome is too far for your guests to travel! And the staff, they’re always friendly and its likes like a well oiled machine.”
What is your favourite thing about being a wedding photographer?
“I love becoming part of someone else’s family for a day, you get to share their emotion and inject your own fun along the way, I’ve had enough crap jobs to know when I’ve got it good!”
If you were going to do anything else career wise, other than wedding photography, what would it be?
“I’d love to be a rock god… But I’m an ordinary guitarist!
